Shillong is one of the most beautiful hill station in North east India and capital city of Meghalaya. When all the states get burn with the rising mercury in summer, Shillong still sleeps in its cool and refreshing breeze. Cherrapunjee, the place of highest rainfall, 60 km from Shillong always floats in clouds. The drive from Shillong to Cherrapunjee is out of words.... Beauty of these places cannot be explained, it can be only be experienced, felt and carried away in minds....

Day 1

Meeting and Greeting at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Check in Hotel. 2nd half of the day visit Maa Kamakhaya Temple, Sarighat Bridge, Balaji Mandir. Stay at Hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast drive to Shillong, enroute visit Umiam lake at Barapani, boat safari at the lake. Visit Don Bosco Museum, Ward lake, Golf field, Lady Hyder park etc. Check in Hotel. Explore the evening of Shillong Market.

Day 3

Morning after breakfast proceed to Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra( 65kms from Shillong). Cherrapunjee receives the highest rainfall in the country. Places to visit are Mawsmai cave, Nohkalikai Waterfall etc. Check in cherrapunjee holiday resort.

Day 4

Explore Root Bridge and Asia’s cleanest village, back to shilling enroute Smith Village, Shillong Peak, Elephanta Falls, Catholic Church etc.Evening leisure. Night stay at Shillong.

Day 5

After breakfast back to Guwahati. Visit state Zoo, Shankardev Kalakhestra, Umanada Temple. Check in Hotel. Evening River Cruise and explore Guwahati Market. Overnight at the Hotel.
