Poonch is a town and a municipal council in Poonch District in the Indian administered state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Pir Panjal range of mountains separates Poonch Valley from the Kashmir Valley. For a long time the only road connection between the two valleys was from Jammu. But now with the completion of the Mughal Road connecting Bufliaz in Poonch to Shopian in Kashmir, there is a direct connection between the two.

Day 1: Jammu - Poonch

On arrival at Jammu Station you will meet to our representative and transfer you to Poonch,distance abt 240 kms on the way Mendhar it is small Tehsil of District Poonch on the Zayrat of Chota Shah and valley of Mendhar on the way Krishan Ghati is a hilly forest area, reach Poonch join Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Poonch - Chaka-D-Bagh - Local Sightseeing

After Breakfast leave from hotel drive Chaka-D-Bagh, it is Trade centre and local sightseeing Shai Faker Din Zayart 10 km distance it is located small village of Dagwar in Poonch. Poonch City and its history dates back to 16th century A. D. The Poonch Qila was built by Raja Rustum Khan in 1713 AD. The construction of this fort took place many year s with the effort of Raja Rustam Khan, who was a lover of architecture. The architecture of the fort is influenced by the Mughal architectural style. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3: Poonch - Budha Amarnath - Gurudwara Nangali Sahib

Early in the morning drive to Budha Amarnath Ji Mandir is located at a distance of 25 km to the North East of Poonch. The temple is situated in between the Pir Panchal Range on the confluence of two streams, Nallah Gagri and Pulsta Nadi. The temple of Swami Buddha Amarnath Ji is made of a big stone. On the way Gurudwara Nangali Sahib is located on a hill and on t he banks of Drungali Nallah at a distance of 7 km from Poonch. It is consid ered as one of the oldest Sikh shrines in northern India for Sikh.community. The Gurudwara is visited by thousands of devotees throughout the year. In the evening return back Poonch over night stay in hotel.

Day 4: Poonch - Surankote Valley - Noor-e-Chamb

After breakfast drive to Surankote Valley is situated between the mountain ranges, the Pir Panjal and Rattan Panjal, surrounded with peaks. The place is mentioned by the name of Sawernik in Rajatarangini. There was a big fort at the Surankote Village, on the banks of River Suran in 1036 A.D, visit valley reach Noor-e-Chamb waterfall is at a height of 8,600 feet, one of the major attractions of this place. There is a bridge in front of the waterfall, It is very beautiful place, in the evening return in hotel over night stay.

Day 5: Poonch - Shahdara Sharief - Jammu

Early in the morning leave from Poonch drive to Shahdara Sharief via Dehra Gali Shahdara Sharief is the shrine of Baba Ghulam Shah in the lap of mountains which is well connected with 30 Km. black topped road from Rajouri Town. This shrine is scared for Muslim, Hindu and Sikh equally. Afte rnoon leave from Shahdara drive to Jammu Airport/Station to connect to onwards destination. Thus the package ends upon on the 5th day.
