Himani Chamunda Trek - 2 Days

Himani Chamunda is dedicated to Goddess Chamunda located in Tehsil of Palampur, Distt Kangra. It is about the elevation of 2800m (approx) from sea level. This is the oldest route of Gaddi tribe which leads to one of the highest pass i.e. Talang Pass (4600m), in Kangra Region of Dhauladhar range. It's also said to be Purani Chamunda because it is believed that Goddess Chamunda lives here.

Day 1

After breakfast of your qwn, start trek with guide from Jia village. Its about 4-5 hours ascent from Jia village to Himani Chamunda. On the way we will have packaged lunch. Arrival at Himani Chamunda. After reaching at destination snacks and tea will be there. Attending night arti or kirtan in the temple. Overnight camping there and dinner with bonfire there.

Day 2

In the morning we will have bed tea. After that breakfast will be served. After breakfast we will have walk of area, after that we will start descending towards Jia village (3-4 hours descent). On the way we will have lunch. Arrival at Jia village and move back to hotel.
