A Camel Safari is great fun, especially when combining riding and walking side by side with your camel - at your own pace; this way you can enjoy both, relaxing riding and refreshing bone stretching. It is obvious that the longer you choose to go on your safari, the more remote places you will see and the more you may adjust to and enjoy the desert tranquility.

Day 1

The tour departure is early in the morning at 6:00 am by jeep to the campsite outside of Jaisalmer; a drive of 60 km. Breakfast is served with the stunning sunrise at the camp.

8:00 am to 12:00 noon - The exciting camel safari starts visiting Unda village (a traditional Rajput village) and after that Bheelo ki Dhani (a village of tribal people).

12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch followed by rest in the shade of trees near the oasis as the sun is fierce.

3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – The camel trek starts again from Koda village (Mixed caste village). Watch native wild life and see villages while riding through isolated sand dunes (Khayala).

The trek continues across the desert and we stop to watch the beautiful sunset before arriving at our campsite. After the day’s desert experiences you are welcomed to a delicious dinner, freshly prepared for you over the camp fire; and when you are sleeping beneath the star studded sky on your clean bed roll you will have the dreams of the desert.

Day 2

After sunrise and breakfast, the tour continues with the adventurous visits to villages and sand dunes.

8:00 am to 12:00 noon – You will experience the desert environment and get a glimpse of the desert vegetation and the exotic creatures on the sand (along with two villages on the way if you wish to visit them).

12:00 noon to 3:00 pm – Lunch and rest in the shade of trees.

3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – You can enjoy camel riding and galloping along the way while reaching the campsite before returning to Jaisalmer by a one-hour jeep drive.

6:30pm – The tour ends.
