Almora is a cantonment town in the Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It has an average elevation of 1,861 metres (6,100 feet). It is located on a ridge at the southern edge of the Kumaon Hills of the Himalaya range. In the shape of a horse saddle shaped hillock, it is surrounded by thick forests of pine and fir trees. Flowing alongside the city are rivers of Koshi, (Kaushiki), and Suyal (Salmale). The snow-capped Himalayas can be seen in the background. Almora got its name from "Kilmora" a short plant found nearby region., which was used for washing the utensils of Katarmal Temple.

Day 01 - Arrive at Almora and Sightseeing

Pick up from Kathgodam railway station/bus stop and check in at a hotel. Take a refreshing breakfast, then leave for sightseeing to Bright End Corner. Go on a temple visit to Kasar Devi temple and Nanda Devi temple. Enjoy picknicking at Simtola Eco Park. On coming back have scrumptious dinner at the hotel.

Day 02 - Enjoy Trekking

On the next day get ready to go for trekking to Zero Point and Kalimut. Explore the natures paradise at Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and Deer Park. On prior request we can arrange a bonfire evening for your group.

Day 03 - Excursion and Departure

After having breakfast check out from the hotel. Visit Katarmal Sun temple and Kumaon Regimental Centre. After the excursion the cab will drop you at Kathgodam raiway station/bus stop.

Cancellation Policy

• In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: 60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost 45 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour / service cost 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost.
• Less than 72 hours or No Show: No Refund In case of Special Trains Journeys and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).
  Some cancellation and refund policies are out of our tender: Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy Train tickets cancellations will follow the Railway’s policy Flight tickets cancellations will follow the airlines company policy In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
