Viðey is a unique site that combines history, art and nature. It is only few minutes away from the city by boat and is well known for its tranquillity and the spirit of bygone centuries. The island is also the location of the Imagine Peace Tower, which is dedicated to murdered Beatle John Lennon. Viðey is well suited for outdoor activities and hiking but is also an interesting venue for dinner parties, meetings, conferences and functions of all sorts. During the summer, there are horse and bike rental services for individuals and groups.

Meeting point: Reykjavik old harbour at 12pm. Please be at meeting point 15 minutes before the start.
