Via Ferrata. Sierra de Guara, Alquezar - Sheds

A via ferrata is a vertical designed route with different materials, mainly metal staples and pins that serve as points of support for feet and hands. Occasionally we also find stairs, railings, chains, suspension bridges and zip lines. This allows to climb safely to areas of difficult access for hikers or those not accustomed to climbing. The insurance is through a steel cable installed across the road, which we always sink together with energy trigger that slows the impact if you drop. A Level 1 ferrata alternates vertical passages with simple horizontal crossings.

What is the fitness level required? Being a beginner ferrata enthusiasts do not need any previous experience. This level makes it ideal for families or for those who want only the first sensations of the vertical and mountaineering. It is imperative not to have vertigo.
