OLDVILLAGESAND BRIDGES
Our walk will lead us through the most interesting villages and bridges of the area over stone paths (kalnterimia) and donkey trails. We start from Dilofo a village which is famous for its old impressive buildings, protected from UNESCO as a monument of local architecture. Through the forest we reach Vitsa the square with one of the biggest plane trees in the area. We continue walking down the Vitsa steps reaching the bottom of Vikos gorge, where we crossMisiosBridge. The walk continues on the kalnterimi towards Koukouli. A lovely square will cross our way with the church and the old school. One our away we hike to Kipi, a village famous for the many bridges surrounding it. After a good walk in the forest we return to Dilofo.

VRADETO STEPS — BELOI
An impressive stone path over 300 years old climbs the cliffs of Vradeto. The walk starts from Kapesovo and takes us in one hour with impressive views to Vradeto, the roof of Zagori, as it is the highest Zagori village. A small but beautiful village, with a lovely square. We continue towards Beloi a view point of Vikos Gorge. The view is astonishing as we see the gorge from an800 meterbalcony over the huge cliffs. We walk the same way back.

THE VIKOS GORGE
We start to cross Vikos Gorge, a very impressive canyon and one of the deepest in the world! We will be transferred to Monodendri (2km), and then we hike downhill, where we meet the small river that flows through the gorge. We continue next to the stream, and walk right into the heart of the National Park. In the gorge still find refuge a lot of wild animals, such as pray birds, bears and wild boars. Our walk will end at Vikos village after a small ascent, around 40 minutes.

ALPINE LAKE DRAKOLIMNI
We hike from Papigo towards the high plateaus ofMt.Timfi, reaching an alpine lake at 2050m. The walk begins from Mikro Papigo, one of the most beautiful villages of Zagori, and continues through beautiful and quite scenery towards Astraka hut. On the way up we will meet a lot of water springs so there is no need to carry a lot of water. After a small stop at the mountain hut, we continue another 1.30 hour to the “Drakolimni”, an alpine lake at 2050m. The scenery is magnificent as we have great views over Pindos mountain range. We walk back the same way.

THE VOIDOMATIS GORGE
The walk is right in the National Park. Our walk starts from the oldbridgeofKlidonia. We walk next to Voidomatis river one of the cleanest and coldest rivers ofEurope! The walk is always under the huge plane trees at the bank of the river. On our way we visit the old abandoned monastery of Ag. Anargyroi, many times destroyed through the years. The walk continues always next to the magical blue of the river to thebridgeofAristi. On the drive back we can visit the monastery of Panagia Spileotissa with the impressive bell tower, having views to the gorge.

MONASTERY OF STOMIO
A chance to walk inside a part of the Aoos Gorge. The wildest side ofMt.Timfi, which rises at 2500m. We start from the town ofKonitsa, crossing the impressive arched bridge. The walk always follows a dirt road and an old path. Inside a mixed forest with a lot of wild flowers we walk towards Monastery of Stomio. The monastery is built on a huge rock having a fantastic view inside the Aoos Gorge under Gamila peak, the highest peak of the mountain. We walk back the same way.
