On this trip you'll ride a 4x4 to go where no car can take you, all accompanied by a driver who'll act as your guide. Traveling off the beaten track you’ll head into rural Crete to see some of the places that most tourists never see. You’ll start at an olive oil farm and the Lassithi Plateau; a peaceful land of citrus groves, vineyards and stone windmills surrounded by mountains. After exploring here and a complimentary lunch at the old village of Agios Konstantinos, you'll trundle on to the sacred cave of Pyschro. The story goes that this is the 'Diktaean Cave', the mythical birthplace of Zeus himself. Head deep inside to see its stalactites and stalagmites before setting off again for Krassi. This hill village boasts the oldest tree in Crete; a huge, spreading plane tree dominating its central square. There'll be plenty of other sights and photo-stops along the way, so don't forget your camera.
