Walking tour to Marais or From swamps to the king’s mansions

The masterpiece of Marais with its dozens of palaces, hundred of lovely medieval small streets, – is a King Square, Place des Vosges. Streets there are really so thin and dark, that taxi drivers leave this place only pretty well blessed out.

In this tour I invite you to turn over the pages of Paris history since the years of the Knights Templar. They were the first, who settled in this marshy ground. I propose you to recognize the first crowned heads, who admired this place, including fulfill of secrets queen Margo. I will efface the dust from the stories about lovely marquise de Sevigne, left for us thousands of genius letters to her daughter. We will recollect together Victor Hugo, who brought by his forces the entire grandiosity and respect to Notre Dame Cathedral.
