Versailles Gardens Ticket: Classical Music in the Groves

Spend a day in the Versailles Gardens (Jardins de Versailles) and discover its 13 groves while you listen to the accompanying sounds of classical music. This independent tour allows you to explore the elegant greenery of the famous Versailles Gardens, with their finely trimmed trees and Baroque sculptures. Take your time and explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed gardens at your own pace with this full-day entrance ticket.

Redeem your voucher at the entrance of the Gardens of Versailles, and step back in time to 17th- and 18th-century France. Your independent ticket allows you to explore the world-famous gardens, designed by André Le Nôtre, on your own.

The extraordinary gardens took about 40 years to complete; appreciate just how detailed the features are as you explore the 13 different groves, the Grand Canal, the fountains and the numerous marble statues. Admire the meticulously trimmed trees and bushes, and wander off to find plenty of space away from the crowds.

Get the most out of your visit during the two periods a year (April 1 to May 13 and July 1 to October 28, Tuesdays only) when the groves and protected areas of the gardens are accessible for a ‘musical stroll’ – an opportunity to discover the gardens in a special Baroque setting with classical music. The music is played between 10am and 6:30pm. You can also see the musical fountains in the Bassin du Miroir every 10 minutes from 10am to 6:30pm.

You will receive a complimentary map so you can easily find your way through the gardens’ many routes.
