Upon your arrival in Monaco, stop in Eze to discover this medieval village built on top of the moutain, rising high above the sea with a fantastic view, and take the opportunity to visit the perfume factory Fragonard.
Driving through the village La Turbie, also called the «Terrace» of Monaco due to the panoramic view on the Principality of Monaco and with it’s Trophy of the Alps, a roman monument built in 7 BC, reach the luxurious Principality of Monaco.

The Prince Palace and the changing of the guard at 11.55 am. Opposite the Prince’s Palace, you will notice the Caserne des Carabiniers. Created on December 8th, 1817, the Carabiniere fulfil several assignments (guarding the Prince’s Palace, Changing of the Guard every day at 11.55 a.m, ensuring the safety of the Prince’s Family and the security of his properties and residences, providing services of honour to the Sovereign Prince, ensuring that laws are properly observed, participating in the maintenance of public order).
The Cathedral is a building in neo-Romanesque style whose first stone was laid on January 6th, 1875. Entirely built of white stone from the quarries of La Turbie under the reign of Prince Charles III, it was completed on November 12th, 1903, and consecrated in 1911. You can pay homage to the Princes and Princesses of Monaco who are buried here.
The Justice Palace inaugurated in 1930, was made of solid tufa, a porous grey stone also used to build ramparts.
The Oceanograpic Museum created a hundred years ago by Prince Albert I of Monaco. Life coral reefs 3000 km away from tropical seas and one of the richest collections of Mediterranean seas.
Then join Monte-Carlo where you have the Casino, the Hotel deParis, the Café de Paris and the gardens.
Casino de Monte Carlo : built within the territory of the Société des Bains de Mer created by François Blanc in 1863, the Casino de Monte-Carlo was built by Charles Garnier in 1878. The architect of the Paris Opera-House had a marble-paved atrium built, surrounded by 28 Ionic columns in onyx, giving access to the Opera-House also known as the “Salle Garnier”.
The Hôtel de Paris : which possesses all the charm of grand hotels of the 19th century, the inauguration took place in 1864.

On the way to Cannes, join the typical medieval village of Saint Paul de Vence made famous by actors and artists living there (Bonnard, Braque, Dufy, Matisse). Its cabled stone streets, many galleries and nice view overlooking the sea make it a unique place.
At the entrance of village, the «Place du jeu de boules», planted with numerous plane trees, it is the renowned village boules ground. This mythic place has welcomed an infinite number of people who love the game, including many famous personalities such as Yves Montand, Lino Ventura or Henri Salvador, who have enjoyed many a disputed game on the grounds.
On the other side of the square, just beside the old 17th century washhouse, is the famous hotel restaurant, La Colombe d’Or. This veritable institution can boast welcoming the most famous names of our times and times now past: Henri Matisse, Raoul Dufy,Fernand Léger, Yves Montand, Roger Moore or Tony Curtis...
The Ramparts, built in the middle of the 16th century, by order of François 1st have remained almost intact since their construction.
The cemetary is located on plateau du Puy. Though most of the tombstones bear the names of Saint-Paul families, some famous people also rest here such as Marc Chagall, who spent the last 19 years of his life inSaint-Paul. He is buried next to his wife Vava and his brother-in-law Michel. Time for lunch.
Following the coast road, drive through Antibes and the old town where Picasso lived, the incredible harbour and its ramparts built by Vauban.
Reach Cannes driving by the Croisette boulevard, created in 1868 with the somptuous palaces (Carlton, Marinez, Majestic...), to the film festival Palace and feel as a star walking up the world known steps.
