Orsay and Barbizon - OBM

The day will start with the visit of the Orsay museum with an audioguide (permanent collection), notably famous thanks to its rich pre-impressionist collection gathering some of the most beautiful works by the famous painter Jean-François Millet.

You will take the road to Barbizon village to discover the cradle of pre-impressionnism that inspired numerous artists such as Theodore Rousseau or Jean-François Millet.

After lunch (included), visit on your own Jean-François Millet's workshop, where the leader of Barbizon school lived whith his nine children and painted the works that made him so famous all around the world.

Then, visit with audioguide of the Auberge Ganne (Departemental museum of Barbizon school). 

Free time to stroll in the village.
