Today's Lido theatre may have only moved a few doors down from its original location on Champs Elysees Avenue but its theatre, technology and performances have advanced exponentially as you’ll see when you come along for the show.
The theatre seats over 1,000 guests and was built without columns to ensure no obstructed views. The orchestra section, where you will dine, is a giant elevator that descends 80cm into the floor to once again ensure visibility for the show.
The magnificent Bonheur show is based on four themes – women, Paris, India and the Cinema. It contains an ice rink, 23 sets, 90 spotlights, a five metre tall Indian temple, 600 costumes bedecked in 300,000 sequins and pearls and 60,000 crystals, and utilises 80,000 litres of water for a pool and water feature.
