Let yourself transported to the lofty atmosphere of the Versailles palace and its famous French gardens. Combining classic and baroque architectural styles, the palace has been on the World Heritage list for 30 years. You’ll instantly feel the pomp and ceremony of King Louis XIV’s court: Hall of Mirrors, Grands Apartments and French gardens designed by Le Nôtre.
In the Afternoon, our licensed guide invites you to experience the history of the Palace of Versailles which is one of the most famous monuments of France. You will enter the Palace through the group entrance and avoid the long line at the main entrance. Your guide will lead you through the most beautiful rooms, the State Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors of Versailles and the Queen’s private Apartments. Free time is planned at the end of the tour for a walk in the French style gardens which are full of magnificent statues, busts and marble vases.
