Day 1-Wednesday:
Arrival/Welcome to your culinary Tour, greeting at the airport Tarbes-Lourdes or your hotel. Welcome cocktail and program presentation followed by a dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2-Thursday:
Welcome to Tarbes, trip to the organic farmer’s market to fill our basket with locally grown and produced healthy food. Lunch at Pâtisserie Royalty, the site of our experimental kitchen and a visit to the local Berger chocolatier with tastings. Spare time to explore what Tarbes has to offer. Return to Royalty for a cooking classe to learn how to prepare a French delicacy with the market’s food and enjoy it together.
Day 3-Friday:
Day in Pau and Jurançon‘s wine and Cheeses, visit to an organic Jurançon vineyard for a tour and wine testing. Introduction to a“Maitre fromager-affineur” (Master cheese maker) and cheese testing. Spare time to explore Pau’s castle, shops etc… Return to our experimental kitchen for a new cooking classe to prepare another French delicacy.
Day 4-Saturday:
Lourdes and Cauterets, Visit to the Lourdes Market place and Santuaries, lunch in Cauterets and discovery of the National Park. Return to Royalty for the last cooking class, and dinner.
Day 5-Sunday:
The Pic du Midi de Bigorre, 2877m !!
Step of the Tour the France, travel to the Col du Tourmalet to the Barèges’ valley for a visit and lunch to a restaurant, altitude 1600m. Relaxing afternoon in a spa and back in Tarbes for a gastronomic dinner.
Day 6-Monday:
The Terroir and Meetings day, dedicated to the discovery of the culture of fruits, vegetables and Organic breeding, matched by the lunch and the dinner on the same theme.
Day 7-Tuesday:
French Madiran’s Vineyards, discover the vineyards and Cellars of Domaine Bouscassé and Château Montus. Tasting wines, lunch, farewell dinner and overnight stay at Château Montus.
Day 8-Wednesday:
Departure to the Tarbes-Lourdes airport after breakfast.
