A Day in Bordeaux with Pick Up from Hotel

Savour the wines and explore the vineyards of Bordeaux with this day trip to the city and nearby Saint-Emilion. We’ll take you there the fast-track way aboard the TGV high-speed train and you’ll be back in Paris before you even know it!

Zoom by the French countryside at speeds of up to 300km/h and arrive at Bordeaux in just a few hours. A representative will be waiting to meet and greet you to the wine capital of the world. You’ll be brought to the city centre and presented with an audioguide and itinerary booklet so that you can discover the city at your own pace. Bordeaux owes much of its wealth to centuries of wine production and this prosperity can be seen in its many monumental civic buildings. Admire the neo-classical Grand Theatre. Marvel at the late baroque grandeur of the Place de la Bourse. Pay homage to the many Romanesque and Gothic churches.

After lunch, meet up for the trip to Saint-Emilion, just a few minutes’ drive from the city. Enjoy a guided tour of two charming and authentic chateaux before tasting some wines on site. Head to the village proper for a tour of its picturesque streets, which helped make it a Unesco World Heritage Site. Return to Bordeaux to catch the TGV back to Paris.
