Day 1: Arrival Addis Ababa

On arrival at Bole international airport, you meet our staff and will be transfered to the hotel (if night arrival in Addis Ababa).

Day 2: Addis Ababa - Lalibela

The 12th century, 11 Rock Hewn churches of saint Lalibela are peerless both for their architectural magnificence and as enduring testaments of their rich legacy of the churche.The structures are superb and staggering that tradition holds even angles are said to have taken part in the construction of the edifices. The angels believed to have performed miracles during the night. These fine products of human ingenuity carved 800 years ago.AM visit the 1st groups namely;Bete Medahenialem,Bete Mariam,Bete Meskel,Bete Golgotha & Bete Danagil.PM visit the 2nd groups like;Bete Emanuel,Bete Merkoriose,Bete Libanose,Bete Gebereil and Rapheal,and Bete Libanose.Over night hotel.

Day 3: Lalibela - Axum

Axum is not only the source and seat of the ancient Ethiopian civilization but it is also the holiest place of Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity.The churchs and monasteries of Axum are endowed with icons, coins and historical crowns of ancient Emperors. AM visit the legenday bathe of Queen Sheba, graves of king Kaleb and Geber Mesekel & the stele park.PM visit the 16th_century chatedral of St Marry of Zion were probably built on an earlier 4th_century church. In its sanctuary the original Ark of the Covenant is guarded.Overnight hotel.

Day 4: Axum - Gonder

This historical town was the capital of Ethiopia in the 17th _18th century.Visit the castle of Emperor Fasiledes and palaces of Bekaffa, Tsadiku Yohannes, Adiam Seged Iyassu & Emress Mentwab.Visit D/Berhan Selassie, very impressive Biblical mural paintings. Overnight hotel.

Day 5: Gonder - Bahir Dar

Am drive to the dramatic Blue Nile fall (400 meters length & 50 meters deep).Back to the town for lunch & pm boat trip on lake Tana for the 14th island monasteries, like Ura kidanemeheret and Azwa Mariam. Overnight hotel.

Day 6: Bahir Dar - Addis Ababa

Am flight to Addis Ababa and PM flight to Dire Dawa and drive to Harar.Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Full Day Visit in Harar

Harar the medieval walled city, worth of mosques, minates, colorful markets, baskets & center of Muslim learning. Visit the colorful market, house of the French poat Arthur Rimbaud, the grand market, harari traditional houses (beautifully decorated). At night attend the hyena feeding (you can try it). Over night hotel.

Day 8: Flight to Addis Ababa

AM drive to Dire Dawa and visit the Ethio – Djibouti rail way and 20th century architectures (French) and the remains of the British airmen and African soldiers who, during the Second World War, fought besides the Ethiopian forces to liberate Ethiopia from Italian occupation. Afternoon flight to Addis Ababa and Farwell diner with traditional music end of our visit and departure.
