Day 1: Mekele - Berahile

In the morning you start your journey to one of the hottest places in the world. We will arrive in the small desert town Berahile where we will set up our first camp. Camel caravans and a beautiful sunset in a picturesque landscape are waiting here for you. Overnight: Camp (B, L, D)

Day 2: Berahile - Hamed Ela

The journey continues to Hamed Ela, where the nomadic Afarfolk have pitched its settlements. The culture of this unique people will immediately enchain you just like the environment in which they are living.
Overnight: Camp (B, L, D)

Day 3: Hamed Ela - Erta Ale - Mekele

In the morning you go on a 15km hike from Hamed Ela to Dodom . The crater area is only about 613 m above sea level. At midnight you get to the Erta Ale volcano to marvel there the spectacular eruptions. Then we head back to Mekele.
Overnight: Hotel (B, L, D)

The price is for small groups like 3-4 persons.
