Cotopaxi National Park

We begin our tour taking the Pan-American Sur, and as we continue this takes the name of the Avenue of Volcanoes because along the way we will see volcanoes such as El Cotopaxi, Antisana and Chimborazo.

The Cotopaxi volcano is the highest active volcano in the world, rising up to 5897 meters above the level of the sea.

We will visit the Saquisili animal market, if the day of the tour is Thursdays and after this we will continue to the Limpiopungo Lake, a beautiful lake created from the melted water of the Cotopaxi, after this we will take you up to the shelter and finally we will return to Quito.

The Cotopaxi is a national park and from here you can also practice trekking, climbing, horseback riding and coto bikes (private tour).

 We recommend you to take sunscreen, warm clothes and to jacket protect yourself from the rain, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water and cash to pay the entrance fee to the National Park Cotopaxi.
