Cross the small bridge from Nyhavn to Islands Brygge, another handsome Copenhagen waterfront, and contrast its trendy architecture with the historical houses of Nyhavn.
Continue running to the neighborhood of Christianshavn, the city’s bustling canal quarter that was established by King Christian IV in the early 17th century. As you jog along its pretty canals, learn about the Christianshavn during the reign of Christian IV, when it rose to prominence as a thriving commercial center.
After exploring the city’s top waterfront locations, work your way back to the center of town. Your tour finishes back at the start point.
