Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of Prague. On this tour of the city, you will discover magical sites such as Prague Castle or the Little Quarter and many more that will convince you there’s something otherworldly about the Czech capital.
The tour begins at the Charles Bridge in the city’s atmospheric Old Town. Hop onto a funicular that will take you to the top of Petrin Hill, where you encounter the iconic Petrin Tower. After that, make your way towards the 12th century Strahoy Monastery. Pilgrims flock from all corner of the world to see it, and a number of scholars fill its museum and library.
Head off the beaten track into Novy Svet, a wiggly-windy street that preserves the feel of mediaeval times. Throughout the alley, you’ll come across antique facades and bohemian art studios. At the end of it awaits the magnificent Prague Castle, a construction assembled throughout 10 centuries. Learn all about this colossal building as you step through its cavernous courtyards.
Later on, delve into the byzantine streets of Lesser Town, the city’s most ancient part, where you’ll take a break in the Wallenstein Gardens. Continue to St Nicholas, one of Europe’s largest baroque churches, and make a wish at the baby Jesus wax statue. Stroll by the John Lennon Wall, where demonstrators gathered to protest against the Communist regime, and cross a bridge with no name to Kampa Island, a romantic corner where couples seal their love, as you will seal yours to Prague.
