The precious gem of the North

Let's visit the " Jewels of the North". We cross the check point of St. Dometios and drive via Nicosia to Kerynia town. As we drive behind the Pentadaktylos mountains we stop for our first visit to St Hilarion castle. Some of the most spectacular views on the island are here so don't forget your camera.

We continue to the center of the town of Kerynia, to visit the medieval fort and the well known shipwreck dating back to the ancient times. This is exhibited within the castle walls. After some free time for shopping and strolling by the picturesque harbor, we drive to the village of Bellapais to visit the well known Abbey, where the Augustinian monks used to live.

We take a break and lunch at the «Lazy Tree» restaurant and then we drive back to your resorts.

This is a great tour for those lovers of history, archaeology and politics as well as those of you with a subtle taste for aesthetic beauty and magnificent landscapes.

Please note: The duration of the tour is 8 hours for guests staying in Agia Napa, Larnaca, Limassol or Paphos. For guests staying in Nicosia the durations of the tour is 6 hours.

Guiding fees, transfer fees in a private car. Also included are the entrance fees to the mentioned sites, a bottle of water for every person at the start of the journey.
