Sea kayaking – from Lopud island

In only one day you would like to enjoy the Adriatic Sea, relax under sunrays and feel the real meaning of unspoiled nature? Then you should join us on a sea kayaking trip to the Elaphite islands.

We are picking you up from your hotel in Dubrovnik or nearby resorts and organise the transfer to Lopud island. For the sea transfer, we mostly use the regular ship to the islands. This ship drive takes about 45 minutes while you will get a feeling of the island life and sea the beautiful shore of Dubrovnik region.

Tuesdays we often organise a private boat to take you from the coast to Lopud. In such case, the trip is starting a little bit earlier but you will be faster on the island and also back in your hotel after the trip.

Arrived on Lopud, you will meet your kayak guide who will give you first kayaking instructions and all needed equipment. After that, you will start the journey with easy paddling beside Lopuds beautiful promenade and its cliffs direction Sipan island.

We use stabile sit-on-top kayaks for 2 persons in each kayak. It is safe and easy to paddle, suitable also for beginners.

On the way to the small fisher village Sudurad on Sipan, you will get the possibility to dive into a cave, called Green Cave, hidden and unique in all its underwater beauty.

On Sipan island you can either have a nice walk through the island, nearby century old monasteries and summer houses from the time of Dubrovnik Republic, or just relax on a beach having a swim or a snorkel tour.

For lunch we recommend to visit a family run farm house where you can taste homemade ham, cheese, bread and wine in a unique ambient.

Otherwise you can also have a drink or a snack in one of the bars and restaurants just by the sea in the fisher village Sudurad.

On the way back from Sipan, you will kayak around a small uninhabited island called Ruda direction the bay of Lopud with its beautiful sandy beaches and high palm trees.
