Rafting on the river Cetina become to be one of the most well known recreation for tourists and adventurers who spend their holidays on the Dalmatian coast. This adventure is undoubtedly one of the most exciting ways of exploring river courses and their picturesque surroundings.
The river Cetina is situated between the towns Split and Makarska. Its water level is controlled by a hydro station and so it is suitable for rafting also during dry and warm summer months, in which other rivers mostly dry out. As the sea is nearby, the mild Mediterranean clime allows rafting all year through although during spring the river can be pretty wild as several smaller water runs flow into it and make the water level higher. This river offers many exciting moments, especially driving through the great canyon.
After we reach the river and the meeting place, your skipper will welcome you and give first instructions fort he rafting adventure you have booked. As soon as the equipment is ready and the rafts are in the water, the navigation down multiple rapids begin till the restaurant where the lunch is prepared for you.
The river is all the way crystal clear and clean with multiple runs that make nice small water falls. You can take a camera on your own responsibility but if you take it, we will offer you dry bags to put them in.
You will drive safe boats down the river accompanied by a professional guide/skipper.
Previous experiences in rafting activities are not necessary but you need to know how to swim. This adventure is suitable also for children from 12 years and older, accompanied by minimum one adult.
All you need on the river are bathing suit, short pants, sport sandals, sun cream, towel and a T-Shirt.
Please take extra cloths with you so you can change after the rafting.
The price includes safety helmets, life jackets, paddles and dry bags.
