Plitvice Lakes Tour

This tour unites the wonders of nature and the abilities of man – the good and the bad ones. You will make three major stops. First one tells a story about Homeland War for independence (1991-1995). One-hour drive away from Zagreb, there is an open air museum with war machinery used in the battles. After paying respect to the victims and hearing the “how, why, who and when” part, one more hour of driving takes you from Rastoke. It is a unique village of watermills built at the junction of two rivers. An eye candy. And for the grand finale – Plitvice Lakes. Different routes can be taken there. A combination of walk, boat and electric bus rides will take you to the most distant corners of this national park. Finally just one quote:
