SUNDAY: MAKARSKA
After breakfast, exploring the city of Makarska, walking through the old city where you will see a few churches and a Franciscan monastery from the 16th century with a unique Malacological museum open to the public since 1963., Walking through the harbor, parks  Osejava and St. Peter.
Afternoon free for swimming or shopping in small shops and stores along the promenade.

 

MONDAY: SPLIT AND TROGIR,Cities under UNESCO protection-all day excursion by bus
An interesting ride through picturesque makarska and Omis Riviera past the ancient Salona will bring us
to Trogir-city on UNESCO cultural heritage list,built in place of ancient Greek settlement Tragurion.The citysurrounded by medieval walls has many buildings that testify to its rich history,most notably the Cathedral with the famous portal of master Radovan,city loggia from 15th century,City Hall,the Cipiko palace and Benedictine Monastery from the 11th century. Split is the biggest city and port in Dalmatia today,a city buildt 1700 years ago on the marjan
peninsula,surrounded by historical cities and settlements.We will walk the narrow streets of the Diokletian's Palace from the 4th century,tours its excellently preserved cellar galleries and on the central ancient PeristilSquere visit the oldtempleofJupiter,today the city Cathedral and oldest building of its kind in the world.We will also pass through the famous Golden and Silver gates and pass historical squeres to reach the lively city marketand Riva where you can spend your free afternoon enjoying yourselves strolling or shoping.

TUESDAY: PLITVICE LAKES-National Park-all day excursion by bus

After a ride through the lively landscapes of Dalmatian hinterland and Lika,around noon we reach the centre ofPlitviceLakes,one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world.Sixteen lakes located in a thick forest connected by 92 waterfalls that cascade down the Korana river create unique scenary.Plitvice lakes were declared a National Park in 1949. and since 1979. thay have been under UNESCO protection.Tour of the parktakes around two and a half hours and along with a stroll includes a boat ride along lake Kozjak.Aftertouring the lakes you will have free time and you can enjoy the untouched nature of the one of the most beautiful National Parks in the world.On the way back we will stop for lunch.

WEDNESDAY: ISLAND OF BRAČ-BOL,ZLATNI RAT-all day excursion by fast boat

A pleasant sail with fast boat will bring us to the island of Brač,the highest and third biggest island in the Adriatic,into the picturesque town Bol,the most famous tourist centre on the island.You could enjoy a walk to the Dominican monestery with a rich library and archive and cellars of oldestwinery in dalmatia and taste local wines.There will be free time for swimming and sunbathing on the most famous Adriatic beach Zlatni rat,a beach extending into sea with a dense pine forest behind and rich sports and entetainment offer.

THURSDAY: DUBROVNIK,a city of 1000 monuments-all day excursion by bus

An interesting drive along the Adriatic coast through picturesque landscape of Makarska riviera,across the Neretva River delta and through the city of Neum will bring you to Dubrovnik-the pearl of Adriatic. Due to its exceptional beauty and rich cultural heritage,this ancient city was included on UNESCO list of world heritage sights.Dubrovnik is surrounded by fortresses and fortifications and is a real treasury of architectual and cultural masterpieces,carefully preserved through centuries.A pleasant stroll with an experienced guide will uncover the city's main sights,such as palaces,churches,museums,squares.In your free time you can ride the city cable car to the top of Srđ,a hill offering an unforgettableview of the city and Riviera,or you can have a meal in one of the numerous picturesque restaurants in Old Town and have some fish and excellent wine from the south of Dalmatia.
