ITINERARY:

At 7:30 a.m. we drive out Cartagena by land towards the Canal del Dique, an arm of the Magdalena river which we cross by ferry. On the other side of the Canal, Baru´s island awaits us and a road that leads to Playetas, a sector that is only possible through by four wheel drive vehicle, then, we continue on the road to arrive to Baru´s village to learn about its history, local art and its people. At 11:00 a.m. we get back to reach a pier in Cholon´s Lagoon,here we expect a boat that takes us to see Cholon´s lagoon and its beautiful white sand beaches. At 2:00 p.m. we have a typical lunch. At 4:00 p.m. we go back to Cartagena.
