One hour from Bogota is the Nemocon Salt Mine.
Departure from the north of the city through the Common Bridge and we will reach Nemocon Cajicá. During the tour you will be informed the secrets of mining from the bowels of a mysterious excavation, more than 80 meters deep. Surprised by their methods of construction and operation, its magical atmosphere of colors, mirrors of water and the play of light in mine shafts, create an unreal atmosphere that will captivate you.

MINE is an adventure 60 feet underground with a distance of 2,500 meters.
Over a year ago MINE doors were opened to offer visitors the great opportunity to explore the depths of Colombian history.
They tour the bowels of Earth, delighting the beautiful formations of salt, mirrors of water, the wishing well, the chapel of the Virgin of Carmen, and the heart of Nemocon.
The chapel of the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of miners, drivers and Colombian police, also has its representation within MINE. The chapel was built in 1946. Following a blue way, the wishing well and waterfall natural salt with over 80 years of age, are places that have been formed by multiple leaks.
The great sphere representing the world: The blue color is the sky and the white purity, peace and hope of the Virgin, which is suspended over the world, representing the protection to all people especially the miners.
The city of salt seepage: where the rocks are large stalactites and fifty one meter long with more than 100 years old, some look like roots, because indoor air twist them creating figures.
