We will pass the Teatro Colon, Palacio de San Carlos, Plaza de Bolivar, First Cathedral, Capitol and City Hall.
Visit the famous Gold Museum which displays 3,400 pieces of gold, more than 20,000 bones, ceramics and textiles from 13 cultures and ascent by cable car or funicular to Santuario Fallen Lord of Monserrate from where you get a nice view of the city .

Gold Museum in Bogota: The exhibits were renovated in 2008 and the building was extended with magnificent architecture. The permanent exhibition at the Gold Museum invites you to see the history of gold and other metals among societies that inhabited what is known now as Colombia. It is organized into four exhibition halls and an exam room that you can visit in order of preference :

• The work describes metals mining and manufacturing techniques of ancient metallurgy.
• People and Gold in prehispanic Colombia, discloses the use and context of the metals within the political and religious organization.
• Cosmology , explores the mythical themes such as symbolism, shamanism and the symbolism of metals.
• The offering, immerses visitors in the world of offering rituals.
• The Exploratory promotes interactivity and reflection about the meaning of diversity and heritage preserved by the Museum.

The Cerro de Monserrate is the symbol of Bogotá. Located 3,152 meters above sea level, the Shrine of the Fallen Lord pilgrimage, site of national and foreign, is surrounded by lush vegetation that allows the best savanna landscape in Bogota.

Others: Monday the Gold Museum is closed, the exhibition is replaced by Botero. Sunday Monserrate is not included and it’s replaced by the Quinta de Bolivar.
