Leaving the road to the sea is one of the routes takes more height around Medellin and for part of the route has a wide view of the Aburrá Valley. Going down the first town you come to is St. Jerome. West Bridge: Between the towns of Santa Fe de Antioquia and a monument Olaya hanging over the Cauca River known as "Western Bridge", a suspension bridge built between 1887 and 1895, declared a national monument in 1978.
