8-Day Golden Route Of China Tour: Beijing, Xi'an And Shanghai Including The Great Wall And Terracotta Warriors
Enjoy free time on your first day to explore Bejing on your own. The next day, explore Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, take a boat ride on the lake at Summer Palace, and watch an exciting Chinese Kung Fu Show.
Your third day will take you to the majestic Great Wall, as well as Chang Tomb and Beijing Olympic Green. Leave Beijing behind and head to Xi’an the next day for a fun rickshaw ride and a tour of a local market.
On your fifth day, explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Terracotta Warriors, the famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the historic Muslim Quarter. Top your night off with an optional Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show!
The next morning, fly to Shanghai to visit a 400-year-old water village, where you’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride and a tour of a silk mill. On your seventh day, discover ancient Chinese art, tour a private Ming Dynasty-era garden and explore the former French Concession district.
Then, travel along the Bund and enjoy the local nightlife before ending your tour the next morning.
Throughout your trip, your knowledgeable guide will provide illuminating commentary about the sites you visit. Seven nights of accommodation in 4-star hotels, ground transportation by comfortable coach and domestic flights are included. Most meals are included, and for those that are not, your guide can provide excellent recommendations on places to eat.
