1 Day Panda Volunteer Work at Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base

Your Guide and Driver will pick you up at about 07:30am at your hotel and driver about 30 minutes to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center. You will spend whole day staying with these lovely panda bears and this Panda keeper experience at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base will be a highlight of you trip.

Some of your tasks:

• Cleaning panda areas and enclosures
• Cleaning general areas of the Panda Centers
• Preparing food for the pandas such as carrots, apples, panda bread and their nutritional biscuits
• Carrying lots of bamboo
• Sometimes you might be able to help collect behavioral data

You also more time to watch and photograph the pandas than other normal visitors.

At the end of the program, each participant is issued a certificate which proves your volunteering at the base.
