Viña del Mar and the Coast Village, Tour in Private

This tour is ideal for those who love surf and sun. Leaving Valparaiso/Viña del Mar, you’ll travel north along the coastal road to the summer beach resort town of Maitencillo. Here you’ll visit a sea-gull reserve, see a wide variety of marine life and enjoy the beach and its colorful handicraft market. You’ll continue to travel north to the town of Cachagua, another summer beach resort, with rural characteristics. You’ll have time to enjoy a walk to a viewpoint to see the Natural Sanctuary of Cachagua - an island where Humboldt Penguins are often found basking in the sun. The last stop will be Zapallar, one of the first established and most exclusive summer beach resorts in Chile. Zapallar dates from 1893 and retains every bit of its high turn-of-the-century style and Mediterranean elegance. Large but tasteful homes lie hidden among the mature forests and exuberant gardens above the beach, accessed by winding streets and a footpath that leads all the way around the north side of the bay.
