Torres del Paine 5 Day Budget Trek

    What's Included?

Let us arrange your independent trek in Torres del Paine National Park. While this trekking package does not include a guide it includes practically everything else. The trip starts with a hike up to the Towers Lookout point for the best views of the world famous granitic spires. We hike around Lago Nordenskjold enroute to the the beautiful French which offers fabulous views of the surrounding hanging glaciers, mountain lakes and several peaks which includes. On the last day we will gear you up for a hike up to the Glacier Grey viewpoint where we can get a view of the massive Patagonian Ice Field and if we are lucky see icebergs calving directly from the glacier into the lake. The tour includes transportation, prearranged comfortable accommodation in the mountain Refugio system maintained by the National Park and all meals while trekking.

Day 1 - Puerto Natales to Torres Del Paine National Park

We will start from Puerto Natales at 2:30pm for the bus ride to Torres Del Paine National Park. Upon arriving at the park entrance at Laguna Amarga you will connect with a shuttle to Refugio Torre Central for an evening meal and a nights rest.

Day 2 - Trekking in Torres Del Paine National Park

We take an early breakfast at the Refugio and start the days trek up the Ascencio River to the Towers Lookout point for fantastic views of the world famous granitic spires. We take lunch here before hiking back down the valley and heading to Refugio Las Torres where we will have dinner and enjoy the night.

Day 3 - Trekking in Torres Del Paine National Park

Today we follow the trail around the base of Almirante Nieto Mountain (2750 mts.) and cross the Bader River to arrive at Refugio Los Cuernos where we will spend the night.

Note: It’s possible to upgrade to private cabins here which have free hot tub access for $80.

Day 4 - Trekking in Torres Del Paine National Park

We start the day with a 2 hour hike up the beautiful French Valley through a miniature Beech forest. Upon reaching the French Valley Viewpoint we have fabulous views of the surrounding hanging glaciers, mountain lakes and several peaks which include; the Cuernos (2600 M),Espada (2400 M) and Fortaleza (2800 M). We head back to overnight at the Refugio Paine Grande.

Day 5 - Torres Del Paine National Park to Puerto Natales

You will begin early morning with the hike to the Grey Glacier and can enjoy the views of the vast South Patagonia Ice Field with its many unclimbed mountains. If we are lucky we will see giant icebergs calving into the lake from the view point. We return along the same path to the Refugio and to take the last Catamaran across Pehoe Lake at 6.30PM to catch a bus back to Puerto Natales.
