Here is your chance to explore Southern Carretera Austral in the Aysen region renowned for its warm hospitality and its fascinating beauty. On arrival, you will be transferred from Coyhaique to the beautiful Puerto Rio Tranquilo, a lovely village on the west bank of General Carrera Lake, the biggest lake in Chile and the second largest in South America. Enroute you will have the opportunity to view sensasional surroundings with the forests of Lenga, Coigue and Ñire, and board a boat towards Santuario de la Naturaleza Capillas de Mármol with its captivating natural caves. You will end the day in Puerto Guadal where you will spend the two next nights.
On day two you will depart for Tamango National Reserve where you will board a boat and savor the marvellous scenery of the Cochrane River and town.
Day three features a full-day tour to the outstanding Exploradores Glacier Viewpoint where you will discover the immensity of the North Patagonian Ice Field, San Valentin's Mount and the Exploradores Glacier.
Then you will continue to Coyhaique, the capital city of the Aysen Region, and discover its rich local culture and profound history.
The last day of the trip takes you back to the airport for your final departure.
