Tabali Vineyard Wine Tour & Del Encanto Valley

Driving from La Serena along the Pan-American Highway we will have the chance to admire the Herradura (horseshoe), Las Tacas and Guanaqueros beaches, east bound we can see a variety of growing grape including the cucumber and sweet water melon flavors. Continuing along the wine route, the tour leads to Francisco de Aguirre Vineyard, settled in the middle of the valley, between the Andes Mountain Ranges. After visiting and seeing different kinds of vines along with a complete explanation on wine making, you will enjoy a wine tasting in a propitious, authentic underground cellar. The tour leads us to Ovalle, the capital city of Limarí province. A stop is made at a local restaurant for a typical lunch. Leaving Ovalle, the tour continues to del Encanto Valley where we find geograhs, pictographs and characteristic figures carved in the rocks. It is said they whisper the story of El Molle culture´s indigenous and show us the majestic fortifications and ¨whispering walls¨. Return to La Serena accompanied by a spectacular sunset in the background.
