Are you ready to explore the mysteries of Easter Island and be enchanted by Santiago? Santiago, the capital of Chile, is a unique city full of energy and art. Pairing Santiago with this ancient culture and history-rich island, known as the most isolated piece of uninhabited land in the world, is sure to be nothing short of awe-inspiring.

After meeting you at the airport, we will escort you to your hotel in Santiago. After some time to settle in it is time to head out and explore as we discover the city's most iconic sights, on a personal bike or walking tour. On day two, we will meet you at one of the world's only urban vineyards, situated in the foothills of the Andes as you learn more about Chilean wine, whilst also tasting some of it's most flavoursome varieties. On day three, you will be transferred to the airport to fly to Easter Island where you will be greeted with a flower necklace and escorted to your new hotel. The next morning will include a full day tour of multiple enriching sites including the infamous stone head Moais of Akahanga and Ahu Tongariki, the crater lake of Rano Raraku, and the white sand beaches of Anakena. Day five will feature historical caves and sacred ceremonial sites like the heart-stopping Orongo, where the dangerous birdman competitions were held. The last day of your trip will take you back to the airport with a departure flower necklace and memories to last a lifetime.

Day 1: Arrival in Santiago

Our driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel, you then have the afternoon free to explore the city.

Day 2: Santiago Highlights

In the morning, we discover Santiago through the eyes and ears of a local. This tour shows you our idiosyncrasies, popular culture and everyday life in Santiago. Multiculturalism, urban art and diverse religions in Patronato; fruit and vegetables in La Vega Market; are all part of the many experiences on this unforgettable part of Santiago, Chile.

In the afternoon, join us as we head out into the hustle and bustle of downtown Santiago, where we will unveil the city's most renowned and defining sights. You'll enjoy an engaging adventure through our sprawling green parks before diving into the city's recent and painful political history surrounding General Pinochet's notorious 1973 military coup.

See the downtown sites that continue to have lasting effects on the Chilean people, including our spectacular cultural center. This tour provides you with fresh knowledge and unforgettable memories of Santiago.

Day 3: Arrival Easter Island

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Santiago followed by transfer to the Santiago airport for your flight to Easter Island. Our team will meet you when you land at the airport with a flower necklace and transfer to your hotel. The hotel is located close to the city center so you can explore the rest of the day on your own.

Day 4: Easter Island South Coast Moais

Full-day tour (7 hours app.). After having your breakfast, starting from Hanga Roa we will follow the southern coast visiting: multiple sites to view the Moais including Akahanga (not restored), Ahu Tongariki (restored with 15 Moais), and Ahu Te Pito Kura, "Navel of the World". In addition we'll visit the volcanic crater and crater lake of Rano Raraku and the white sand beaches of Anakena, a white sand beach great for body surfing. You may take the opportunity to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean here. Passengers also have the option of including dinner to the tour, which they would enjoy at the foot of the Volcano Rano Raraku.

Day 5: Orongo and Rano Kau (AM) Ahu Akivi, Puna Pau, and Huri A Urenga (PM)

Today will consist of a morning tour and an afternoon tour.
Morning Tour: After breakfast, we'll head to a spectacular viewpoint on the slopes of Rano Kau and its lake-filled crater. We will see the astonishing ceremonial village of Orongo, where the dangerous Birdman games were once held. These games were used to elect their leader through a life-risking challenge of physical strength and ancient beliefs. After an eye opening history lesson here, the tour will continue to Ahu Vinapu then back to the hotel for lunch.
Afternoon Tour: We will explore deeper into the culture of the Rapa Nui by heading to the center of the island to see the legendary Moais of Ahu Akivi which represent the beginning of the Polynesians' story here. Next we will visit the lonely, restored Moai of Ahu Huri a Urenga. This enormous Moai weighs in at approximately 40 tons and peculiarly has two sets of hands! Enjoy a view looking back at Hanga Roa before heading back to the hotel.

Day 6: Free Day to Relax

After a few activity-filled days take a day to relax, wake up with the sounds of the waves and get into the rhythms of island life. Of course we will be on hand to offer great suggestions on what to get up to with your free day.

Day 7: Depart Easter Island

Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Farewell with flower necklace. End of Program.
