Description:

Early departure from your Hotel / Hostel (Puerto Varas / Puerto Montt), heading to Puerto Montt, Capital of the Lake District, the Chilean Patagonia gate.

This beautiful and cultural excursion will take us through the streets, villas, lifestyles and their Markets so typical of this city.    We begin our «local experience», visiting one of their markets «Padre Hurtado» where you can appreciate the local environment of the local people and their Villages.  Coffee and conversation. You will see and experience the local reality of the people who do not appear in the «conventional Guidebooks». Then we head into the second market «President Ibáñez», popular market with a great list of farm products and the islands. This market is the most Popular of the «Puertomontinos» so called local people of Puerto Montt.   I and my family, going to The market… It's cheaper for us to get fresh vegetables, seafood and fruit every day.

During our walk we accompany the typical daily life of local people and places, that if you are Interested… Share their life with you. Visit the center of the city, it’s square and Cathedral.   Finally, the most famous and well known in this city… Angelmó, the most complete market in Southern Chile. You also need interaction with local people and tourists to the islands… Here we will have a delicious meal with a good local «cold tea» (white wine glass) in the “Cocinerias” (small local restaurant operating by locals).

We started the comeback with spectacular views of the inland sea of ​​Puerto Montt, Tenglo Island or buying a «souvenir» in the market.    Optionally, after our tour, take a boat and visit the «Island Tenglo» Angelmo versus the market, or stay in the market and visit the city more deeply.
