Here is your chance to explore the Atacama one of the world's most arid landscapes. Some areas of the Atacama have not received a single drop of rain in over a hundred years. On arrival, we will pick you up at the airport in Calama and transport you to San Pedro de Atacama where you will spend the next few nights. San Pedro is historic town and a charming oasis in the otherwise vast desert set against the spectacular backdrop of the Chilean Andes.

On the first day we will visit the Valle de la Luna famous for its sand dunes, spectacular multi-colored badlands, and caverns. On day two we head towards the vast Salt Flats of the Atacama and the high altitude lakes of Miscanti and Miñiques where it's common to see wild animals that live in challenging weather conditions, such as flamingoes and vicuñas and in the distant the giant volcanoes of the Andes. On day 3 you will enjoy the Geiser del Tatio (4380m) the world's highest altitude thermal area. It's truly a wonderful experience to walk among the bubbling hot pots and geysers which are set against dark blue skies amidst the vast desert of the Atacama.

Day 1: Calama to San Pedro De Atacama and Moon Valley

We will pick you up at the Calama airport in the morning and drive you to San Pedro de Atacama.

After lunch and a brief rest we offer an afternoon excursion to the Valle de la Luna an area famous for its colored badlands, sand dunes and caverns.
Overnight in San Pedro.

Day 2: Full Day High Plateau Lakes and Atacama Salt Flat

We will have an early start after breakfast and visit the small oasis town of Toconao with its historic church dating back to the 16th century. We continue from Toconao to the Salt Flats of the Atacama. The salt flats cover a vast area and at times are covered by water that is just a few centimeters in depth. The Salt Flats are famous for the pink wild Flamingoes and views of the Andes in the distance. We will have lunch and then continue on to the lakes of Miscanti and Miñiques (4,220m). The deep blue lake of Miscanti is overshadowed by the giant peak of Cerro Miscanti (5622m / 18445ft).
Overnight in San Pedro.

Day 3: Tatio Geyser & Machuca

Today we will get an early start (4am) for the thermal area known as Geiser del Tatio. It's a beautiful landscape of geysers and bubbling hot pots set among the giant volcanoes of the Andes at 4380m. You will have plenty of opportunity to stroll about and talk photos while you enjoy the dramatic landscape. We will return to San Pedro in the early afternoon and you can relax the rest of the day.. Beginning of the day at your leisure, our driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport.
End of Program.

• Prior to 90 Days Full refund (Apart from credit card charge minus a $150 cancellation fee)
• Between 90 Days - 60 Days (80% refund)
• Between 60 - 30 Days (50% refund)
• Less than 30 Days no refund

Please note that all our tours and excursions are subject to weather conditions. Many of our excursions take place in challenging environments where Mother Nature plays a big role in the execution of the outings.

Our clients' safety is our top priority and in order to secure the well-being of both the local communities and visitors, we must withhold the right to change or cancel any tour. In cases of tours cancelled for weather reasons, we guarantee a 100% refund.
