Siem Reap is a province and also a city that homes to many historical important temples to Khmer people, such as Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon and many others.
For this particular tour, our morning begins at Angkor Thom, a temple which was established in the late twelfth century by king Jayavarman VII.The area of this temple encompasses 9km2 land.
From Angkor Thom, next the tour travels to Bayon temple, which situated at the very center of Siem Reap province. This wonder was built in the late 12th century or early 13th century representing the official state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII.
Nearby Bayon Temple come Terrace of the Elephant and Terrace of the Leper King. Our tour continues to the wide-opened space infront of these Terraces. Both were built at the same time as our great Angkor Thom and Bayon temple.
A traditional khmer food and a refreshing coconut juice will reenergized your body while enjoying the ambience air of Siem Reap city.
For the afternoon activities, the tour resumes at Ta Prohm temple, which was constructed in the mid 12th and finished in early 13th century. Well known to hollywood followers, this temple houses now to the forest that has been living together with this temple for many years.
Our next destination is Angkor Wat, one of the most remarkable masterpiece of Khmer architects during the Angkor Period. No wonder everyone is masemerizing with Angkor Wat, the intricated stone works and sculpting impressions leave behind so many folktales and histories of Khmer Angkor.
While the day is coming to an end, our tour ends at Bakheng temple, the best location to observe the sunset from top above.
