The Kibira National Park is a national park in northwestern Burundi. Overlapping four provinces and covering 400 km sq, Kibira National Park lies atop the mountains of the Congo-Nile Divide. It extends north from the provincial town of Muramvya to the border of Rwanda where it is contiguous with the Nyungwe National Park.

Day 1: Arrive Bujumbura

Arrive at the Airport were you will be picked up by the diver / guide, who will take you to your hotel to check-in. Half day tour in Bujumbura, to visit the Snake & Culture Museum; the Islam Culture Centre; City Hall; President's Office and the main And beautiful attraction of the City: Lake Tanganyika.

Day 2: Kibira National Park Burundi

Visit Kibira Forest National Park, for a guided nature walk in this park of few animals species or you can opt for chimps trekking since this park a dozen of primates (numerous families of chimpanzees, white & black colobus, baboons, tailed monkeys, black colobus). If time permitting, visit the Explorers Memorial, a huge rock in the Suburbs of Bujumbura commemorating the meeting between explorers Livingston Stanley in 1871.

Day 3: Fly out

Have an early breakfast and head to the Airport for your departure flight if its in the morning, and if its later you can relax in your hotel before you head to the Airport for your departure flight.
