Plovdiv and Bachkovo monastery - private tour

 Plovdiv – the ancient Philipopolis is one of the oldest towns in Europe. It was inhabited by the Thracians, Romans, Goths, Slavs and Ottomans, whose traces have turned the town into a museum. A place of special interest is the old part of the town. Brilliant examples of the Bulgarian national revival period are preserved here as well as the famous ancient theatre.

After free time you will have a drive to the 11^th century masterpiece – Bachkovo monastery. After a short tour in the complex the tour will end with a return transfer to your hotel in Sofia.

Duration: approx. 10 hours. This tour finishes at the reception of your hotel.
