Full day: Rila Monastery

During the transfer time to and from the monastery your guide will introduce you to the Bulgarian customs, culture, history, etc. You can address him/her for all matters that are of interest to you.  Total transfer time is 4:30 hrs.  At Rila Monastery you will explore the chronologically arranged exhibits of its history museum, a typical monk cell and the frescoes the Nativity of Virgin Mary Church. Your guide will recommend you a restaurant for lunch where you can taste home-made yogurt, kavarma and other local dishes.
