Full Day: Koprivshtitsa

Koprivshtitsa is a museum town with a unique exhibition. In this compact location over 250 types of Revival Period architecture are preserved. Starting from the monumental Mausoleum commemorating the April Uprising of 1876, we set out along the narrow, winding  cobbled streets on our sightseeing tour to the beautifully decorated homes of local merchant Nencho Oslekov, the symbolist poet Dimcho Debelyanov, the Karavelov family and the revolutionary leaders Todor Kableshkov and Georgi Benkovski.  We also stop at the famous Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church. This trip is excellent for people who enjoy natural beauty, panoramic pastoral views, tranquility and poetry in architecture.
