Birdwatching Weekend At Srebarna Lake

1 DAY

Arrival at Varna / Bucharest airport. Transfer to Srebarna. Accommodation at a family guesthouse near the lake, dinner and overnight.

2 DAY

Breakfast. Half day guided walking tour of Srebarna Nature Reserve, included in the list of UNESCO. The Lake is located only 2 km south of Danube River and 16 km far from the town of Silistra. The most interesting birds are Dalmatian Pelican (Pelecanus crispus) and Glossy Ibis (Plegadis falcinellus), White Pelicans (Pelecanus onocrotalus) and many other birds and animals. A series of lookout posts and observation towers are ideal places to watch the wildlife. Lunch in the area. Free time at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

3 DAY

Breakfast. Guided sightseeing tour of the historical sites in Silistra — the Roman and Byzantine remains, Archaeological Museum, the Ottoman Fortress. Transfer to the airport and departure.
