On this half day tour, you will travel to the northern part of Rio to stop at the Sambódromo, the stadium built for the samba schools to perform during carnival. From there, you will drive past Maracanã Stadium, one of the largest futebol (soccer) stadiums in the world. The tour continues to the downtown area, which is the heart of both the business and historical districts of Rio. Driving through the narrow streets, the group will pass by the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Municipal Theater, some commercial buildings and the city's main avenue of Rio Bronco before leaving downtown for Sugar Loaf Mountain. The cable car will bring you up both levels of teh Sugar Loaf mountain. After some free time to enjoy teh magnificant view of downtown Rio and Copacabana beach, we ill return to our trasnportation which will drop us off at yoru hotel.
