Landlocked in the heart of the Andes Mountains, Bolivia remains a well-kept secret. Often overshadowed by its neighbours, Bolivia is a traveller's dream, beautiful and full of culture. Take in all the key sights over 5 days, from spectacular ruins and the world's highest capital, La Paz.

Day 1: Arrival in La Paz

Upon arrival, reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Our representative will give you a documentation kit with detailed program explanation. Luggage and hotel registration assistance is offered. Overnight in La Paz.

Day 2: Half day Tiahuanaco & Half day City Tour

In the morning, you will visit the Tiahuanaco ruins, which is located 72 km/45 miles away from La Paz. The trip passes through the Bolivian Highlands were you can see the Aymara Indians way of life. It was one of the oldest American cultures, Carbon 14 dating give us an average age of 1580 BC to 1150 AC. It is considered the cradle of the American man and one of the most advanced cultures in development at that time. Their main constructions are: the Kalasasaya temple with the main stone work done like the Gate of the Sun, the monoliths Ponce and Fraile; the Akapana pyramid and the Semi underground temple. Visit of the two local museums to see the rich pottery and stone work. At the end, you will return to La Paz.
In the afternoon tour of 4 hours in La Paz, including the area of the street markets, rich in handicrafts, weavings and witchcraft artifacts. The tour goes through the colonial part of the city, San Francisco Church, Instruments Museum, Murillo Square and the outdoor replica of the Tiahuanaco temple. Then to the modernpart of town, dropping down a lot in elevation to finally visit the Valley of the Moon, enjoy all of its natural geological formations. Overnight in La Paz.

Day 3: Departure to Lake Tititcaca - Sun Island

At the scheduled time, transfer from La Paz to Copacabana by bus (it lasts 3 - 4 hours), take the boat to the Island of the Sun (1 hour), land near Pilkokaina ruins and have a typical aptapi. Then you will hike for about one hour to overnight in Ecolodge La Estancia.

Day 4: Return to La Paz

You can sail to the Chincana (1 hour) to see these beautiful Inca ruins. Continue by boat to the island of the Moon, visit the ruins of Inak Uyu and then to Copacabana (2 hours), visit the Black Virgin and beautiful church, with a stroll through the city. Transportation to La Paz (3 hours). Overnight in La Paz.

Day 5: Departure

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to take your flight departure.
