Departing Adelaide in a comfortable mini-coach with your guide, drive through the picturesque Adelaide Hills and make a stop at the summit of Mt Lofty for panoramic views over the city of Adelaide.

Arriving at the Murray Bridge, board the Captain Proud paddle wheeler for a classic 3-hour river cruise. Learn about the river and the region's history and the role played by paddle boats on Murray River navigation history. The onboard commentary is provided by your captain as you journey along the river. You'll pass forests of river red gums, houseboats and river towns on your journey -- keep a lookout for cockatoos, pelicans, galahs and kangaroos.

Lunch is served on board the vessel while you cruise, and includes a 2-course meal with a choice of 2 mains and 2 desserts followed by tea, coffee.

The trip back to Adelaide takes you through the scenic Onkaparinga Valley, and includes a visit to Melba's Chocolates to taste fine South Australian chocolates and Woodside Cheeses for a comprehensive cheese tasting before a picturesque journey through Adelaide Hills.
