Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas Lights Spectacular from Sydney

Get ready to be dazzled by some of the most extensive Christmas light decorations in Australia at Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas Lights Spectacular! Leave Sydney in the afternoon to arrive at the gardens just before nightfall and watch as the elaborate displays come to life in the glow of more than a million lights. Stroll around the gardens and take in the lighted displays, meet Santa, enjoy musical performances and amusement rides, and feast on an Australian barbecue during this evening of Christmas fun for the whole family!

You’ll board a luxury air-conditioned coach at your choice of five convenient departure points in Sydney, then travel about two hours to the Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas Lights Spectacular. Your driver will share stories on the road as you prepare to feast your eyes on the 1.5 million lights that sparkle throughout 20 acres of manicured gardens.

Walk around and take in twinkling highlights such as Cinderella’s Castle, a Christmas fountain, a life-size horse and carriage, and giant Christmas trees, all glowing with bright lights. As you stroll, you may come across live performances by musicians and carolers who roam the gardens and perform throughout the night.

Younger kids will enjoy exploring the Storybook Garden with its large sculptures of characters like Humpty Dumpty and Alice in Wonderland. Kids can also try the amusement rides and take a photo with Santa Claus (own expense).

Fortify yourself for the evening with an Australian barbecue dinner at the Hunter Resort, just a few minutes' drive from the gardens.

After several hours of taking in the lights and entertainment at Hunter Valley’s Christmas Lights Spectacular, you’ll re-board your coach and be returned to Sydney around 11pm.
